The Photon Light Therapy Mask utilizes the advanced technology of LED (Light Emitting Diode), and transmits natural light-like waves that activate photoreceptors within skin cells with various treatment benefits. This device has 3 treatment options.
All three modes are safe to use on all skin types. However, each colour benefits specific concerns as they penetrate to different levels of the skin.
Blue Light (Wavelength 476-495 nm)
This light is beneficial for targeting bacteria and is used with the intention of treating problematic skin including acne. It has been proven to inhibit oil secretion and minimize pores. Suitable for problematic skin conditions.
Orange Light (Wavelength 590-620 nm)
This light has been shown to have skin brightening effects by reducing brown spots from sun exposure or darkened skin from melasma and other hormonal issues. This light also revitalises the skin, reduces inflammation in the skin, and has de-ageing benefits. Suitable for hyperpigmented skin conditions, sensitive skin conditions and pre-mature skin conditions.
Red Light (Wavelength 620-750 nm)
This light is shown to boost circulation, stimulate collagen production within the dermis and speed up the skin’s cell mitosis process. Suitable for pre-mature ageing, age-preventative and mature skin conditions.
Cleanse with Facial Cleanser, Exfoliate with Enzyme Face Buff and tone with prescribed toner.
Apply a recommended Corrector or Treatment Serum onto treatment area.
Select one of the 3 Light treatment options based on your skin condition and place the Photon Light Mask over your face. Optional: Cover eyes with damp cotton pads and leave the mask on for up to 20 minutes.
Apply a suitable moisturiser after removal of mask.
The treatment can be done up to three times per week.
Use Sterilizing Solution and cotton pads to clean touching points of unit. Do not use this solution on the screen itself.
A combination of the various lights can be used together during a single treatment time to address more than one skin concern.
